Several hours of protest today have paralysed activities leaving passengers trekking long distances at the busy Rumuokoro  to Rukpokwu road as angry  commercial drivers are currently protesting the death of their colleague who was allegedly killed by a member of the taskforce. 

A female taxi driver told our correspondent Allwell Ene that the taskforce member known as ATTACKER had held the late commercial driver for wrong parking around the Rumuokoro roundabout and decided to hit the driver with an object after a minor disagreement ensued between them which led to the death of the driver.
