Court Declares Suspects Wanted in Terrorism Case Linked to Notorious Kingpin Bello Turji

A Nigerian court has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of suspects allegedly connected to notorious bandit leader Bello Turji, intensifying the legal crackdown on terrorism-related activities across the North-West.

According to reports byour media representative on site , the court took the decisive step after the suspects failed to appear for proceedings in an ongoing terrorism trial. Prosecutors told the court that the individuals are believed to be key collaborators in violent attacks and logistics linked to Turji’s network.

The presiding judge, visibly dissatisfied with the repeated absence of the accused, ordered security agencies to track down and arrest the suspects wherever they may be, warning that the judiciary would not tolerate attempts to frustrate justice.

Bello Turji, long declared wanted by Nigerian authorities, has been linked to a series of deadly attacks, kidnappings, and mass displacement across Zamfara and neighbouring states. Security analysts say the court’s latest move signals a renewed determination to dismantle the terror network from both military and legal fronts.

As reported by Channels Television, the case forms part of broader federal efforts to prosecute terrorism financing and collaboration, even as security operations continue in affected regions.

The matter has been adjourned, pending the arrest and arraignment of the suspects.
