Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and former presidential aspirant, Dele Momodu, has asserted that only a strong coalition of political parties can unseat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections.
Speaking during the “Guest of the Month” programme on the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State in Ibadan, Momodu declared that his “soul has already left the PDP,” citing internal divisions and sabotage within the party.
He warned that a disunited PDP stands no chance against the All Progressives Congress (APC), accusing the ruling party of deliberately fostering internal crises to weaken the opposition.
Momodu emphasized that legal processes should guide any disciplinary action within the PDP and stressed the need for a candidate from a different region to contest against Tinubu in 2027.
“A united front and a formidable coalition are the only realistic paths to victory,” he said.
