Fire Destroy Properties at Ikoku Spareparts Market in Port Harcourt

Over 60 shops with goods worth millions of naira were early this morning razed by fire at the Ikoku spare part market.

Correspondent Allwell Ene who was at the scene of the incident this morning gathered that the fire started at about 1 am and was said to have been caused by the epileptic power supply.

President of the Port Harcourt Motor spare part dealers union Festus Onyenwe while narrating the incident said the fire was put off with the help of the federal fire service.

He also called on the government to provide a permanent place for them.
