Flash floods destroys properties worth millions at NPA quarters as residents cry for help

News

The heavy rains at the weekend took its toll at residents of NPA quarters along Habour road old Port Harcourt Township as over 30 houses were affected and properties worth million destroyed.

item such as electronics, mattresses, foodstuffs and cooking utensils were destroyed by the flash flood which sacked home up to the thigh level 

Some temporarily displaced victims told our correspondent that the flash floods were largely caused by activities of companies around the area which has blocked major drainages and water channels.
