Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has donated the sum of two hundred million naira to the Abia State Government.
This comes a day after governor Wike donated the sum of N300m to support the wives of some Lagos State public office holders.
Gov Wike who was a guest at the 58th birthday celebration of his Abia State counterpart Okezie Ikpeazu supported the library built by the Abia State governor with the sum of two hundred million naira.
Wike during the event also threatened to expose some persons who had surreptitiously stopped the release of the loan from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to Abia and Benue States.
He said the motive was to punish Governor Samuel Ortom and Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for standing with him to demand the resignation of the national chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Iyorchia Ayu.
He explained that the CBN loan is a facility that is made available to every State of the federation and frowned at some Nigerians who always carry on as if they are masters over others, and would stop at nothing in daring to treat people as slaves.
