Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has approved the appointment of an unspecified number of Ward and Constituency Liaison Officers in the state. 

This comes less than 3 weeks after the Governor reviewed the appointment of Special Assistants on Political Units from 28,000 to 50,000. 

The appointees are to be inaugurated today October 31st in Government House, Port Harcourt, at 2.00 PM. 

Announcing this in a statement, the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Tammy Wenike Danagogo, said all appointees are expected to be seated by 1:30 PM.
