Thugs numbering over two hundred were said to have attacked the residence of former senator representing  Rivers South East Senatorial district Lee Maeba who is Al’s the  Rivers State Chairman of the PDP Presidential campaign Council.

It was gathered that the PDP Presidential campaign Council  LGA coordinators across the 23 Local Government Areas were expected to hold a meeting at the residence of Sen Lee Maeba before the hoodlums stormed the area at about 10am destroying the vehicles.

Our correspondent reports that about two security vehicles from the police headquarters including some DSS operatives had later also arrived the residence  after the attack to assess the level of damage
