A nationwide protest tagged #FearlessInOctober has commenced today in Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The demonstration is a continuation of the #EndBadGovernance protests, which took place between August 1 and 10, addressing the economic hardship faced by many Nigerians.

Protesters gathered early in the morning at Utako Market, a busy area in the FCT, where the demonstration is actively ongoing. Damilare Adenola, Director of Mobilisation for the Take It Back Movement, expressed frustration over the worsening conditions in the country, blaming Federal Government policies for the economic struggles.
