The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), says plans are ongoing to conduct an investigative public hearing on the recurring incidences of grid disturbances and nationwide outages.

According to a statement on its social media handles yesterday, the NERC stated that the hearing would be held Thursday, October 24 at its Hearing Room, Fourth Floor, Plot 1387, Cadastral Zone A0O, Central Business District, Abuja, by 10 am prompt.

According to the Commission, the aim is to identify the immediate and remote causes of recurring incidences, as well as find a permanent resolution to the challenges of the national grid.
