NTA on Wednesday announced that they have signed a memorandum of understanding with Afro Sport for the live transmission of 52 matches of Africa Cup of Nations in Cote D’Voire

The announcement comes as a surprise after Multichoice, the owners of DSTV and Super Sports, failed to secure the rights.

The Africa Cup of Nations, also known as the TotalEnergies AFCON or simply AFCON or CAN, is widely recognised as Africa’s premier international men’s association football competition.

The 2024 edition, set to kick off on Saturday, 13 January 2024, and culminate on Sunday, 11 February 2024, will take place in the vibrant football nation of Cote d’Ivoire.
