PFL Africa Set for Historic Lagos Debut, As Nigeria Becomes New Battleground for Global MMA Expansion

Professional Fighters League Africa will stage its first-ever event in Lagos on June 13 at the Eko Hotel & Convention Centre.

‎Organisers describe the event as a premium global sporting spectacle combining combat sports, culture, entertainment and Lagos energy.

‎The competition will feature 13 fights involving 26 fighters from Nigeria, across Africa and other international locations.

‎Nigerian fighter Wasiu Adeshina will headline the main event against European opponent Nacho Campos.
‎In the co-main event, Nigeria’s Patrick Ocheme will face Cameroon’s Octave Ayinda.

‎Promoters say the event is designed to position Lagos as a global stage where Africa showcases its sporting and entertainment strength to the world.

‎The campaign emphasizes national pride, high-energy entertainment and the growing popularity of mixed martial arts in Africa.

‎Organisers also say the show is intended to appeal to both hardcore MMA fans and first-time viewers seeking a premium live experience.

‎Ticket sales for the event are available through Nairabox, with gates expected to open ahead of the 6 PM start time.

‎PFL Africa says the Lagos event will mark a major milestone in expanding the organization’s presence and visibility across the African continent.
