President Bola Tinubu has reiterated his administration’s dedication to combating insecurity in Nigeria. Speaking on Monday at the Regimental Dinner Night for Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day in Abuja, Tinubu, represented by Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu, pledged to equip the military with the resources needed to address security challenges nationwide.
Commending the professionalism and sacrifices of military personnel, Tinubu vowed to prioritize their welfare and ensure they are well-supported in their constitutional duties. He also urged Nigerians to foster unity and support the armed forces.
Awards were presented to distinguished officers for exemplary service by Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Christopher Musa, with Tinubu praising their resilience and dedication. The president called for collective efforts to overcome security challenges and build a secure, unified nation.
