The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria in Rivers State has said the current fuel scarcity witnessed in Port Harcourt is a failure of the difficulty by Marketers to lift the product following the floods witnessed in parts of the country.
Chairman of IPMAN in the State Joseph Obele who made this known at a press briefing yesterday however advised against panic buying as he said efforts are on to make products available.
Meanwhile, commercial vehicle owners have continued to lament the effect the scarcity has on them.
Some of those seen on long queues told correspondent Allwell Ene that they spend so many hours trying to get the product as most stations are not selling.
