The Rivers State police command today paraded the corpse of Gift David aka 2baba at the state police headquarters Moscow road. 

2baba was accused of killing Ahoada East DPO Bako Amgbashim on Sept 8th last year. 

Police commissioner Tunji Disu at a press briefing today said the camp of 2baba was attacked by an Arial strike led by the Air Force on Feb 10 which gave the police and easy access into  forest to launch an attack on 2baba and his men after a gun duel which left 2baba fatally injured leading to his subsequent death after escaping with the injuries 

CP Tunji Disu disclosed that the corpse of 2baba following intelligent report was exhumed from the ebrass forest in Ahoada west where his men buried him.

The police commissioner however assured that other members of the gang would be arrested in due course while stressing the need for a collaborative effort in crime fighting.
