Staff of defunct Rivers Transport Company say Rivers State Government lost millions of Naira this yuletide following the continuous closure of the transport company. 

They said most passengers travelling in and out of the State who initially ply the transport company have now resorted to travelling with other transport companies. 

Some of the workers who spoke with newsmen appealed to Governor Sim Fubara to reopen the company so as to enable it contribute its quota and grow the internally generated revenue of the State.
