Rivers State Government has continued to send more relief materials to communities submerged by the flood so as to cushion the negative impact of the flood on the residents particularly those at the different IDP camps.
Chairman of the Rivers State Flood Management Task Force GEORGE NWEKE while handing over the palliatives to the chairman of Emohua Chidi Loyd and the Vice chairman of Akuku Toru LGA Caroline Napoleon West at the Rivers State Central Medical Store on Industry road during the weekend, reiterated the resolve of the Governor Nyesom Wike led administration in ensuring that flood victims are given proper care adding that the materials will help to reduce the hardship faced by the flood victims in the state
