The Nigeria Senate has debunked rumours of impeachment plot against the President of the Senate by unknown “aggrieved Senators.

Reacting to an online publication which claimed that there were underground moves to remove him from office, Senate President, Godswill Akpabio Described such reports as fake and should be totally disregarded.

Our correspondent, Raliat Adenekan reports that Senator Akpabio thereafter directed the Senate Committee on Special Duties to investigate the matter and report back to the red chamber within 24hrs for further actions.
