The Supreme Court has just postponed the date for judgment on the case of Tonye Cole against Sim Fubara, INEC and the PDP
Judgement is now slated for next week on a day that will be communicated to both parties.
The judgement was slated for today but parties were communicated on the shift in date.
A close source to one of the parties in the suit who disclosed this said no reason was given for the postponement.
As you may know, The Candidate of the APC in the 2023 election Tonye Cole proceeded to the Supreme Court to challenge the victory of Sim Fubara.
Cole amongst other prayers had argued that Governor Sim Fubara was not qualified to contest the election since he did not resign as Accountant General of the state and acted in the same capacity way past the time stipulated by the constitution and electoral act.
