There was palpable tension this morning in Kpor-Gor community in Tai Local Government Area of Rivers State as scores of youths and elders of the community this morning allegedly dethroned  their Paramount ruler Emmanuel Aminikpo Gbarabuleh  and replaced him with Felix Biragbara as acting Paramount ruler 

Armed security operatives were also seen in the community trying to maintain peace 

One of the leaders of the  community , Ada Asulebari Samuel said the community decided to dethrone the Paramount ruler because he was old, sick and bedridden hence could no longer carry out his functions 

Acting Paramount ruler of the community Felux Biragbara said he accepted to act as paramount ruler pending that emergence of a substantive Paramount ruler in the interest of peace and development of the community
