President Bola Tinubu left Abuja on Wednesday for a private visit to France before heading to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, for the African Union (AU) Summit.
During his stay in France, Tinubu is expected to meet with President Emmanuel Macron, according to a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
Tinubu will then join African leaders at the 46th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council and the 38th Ordinary Session of the AU Heads of State, scheduled for February 12–16, 2025, in Addis Ababa.
