President Bola Tinubu says his administration has taken courageous steps to
reform Nigeria’s macroeconomic environment, to restore confidence in the
nation’s economy.
Represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, at the 17th Annual Banking and
Finance Conference in Abuja, the President said the government is rigorously
working to actualize through measures targeted at reducing inflation, stabilizing
the foreign exchange market and improving fiscal management.

Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Prof. Pius Olanrewaju, called for urgent
introspection on Nigeria’s economic challenges, stressing the need for
innovative solutions.
