Tragedy struck today at the APC campaign rally at the Ojukwu field in Mile one Diobu as a twin dynamite blast was detonated in the midst of the campaign.

Three persons sustained various degrees of injuries from the blast. It’s however not clear who detonated the dynamite. Some of those who sustained injuries spoke to our correspondent. They said they never expected such an incident.

One of the victims, an elderly woman said the sound of the blast has impaired her hearing. Meanwhile, former acting National chairman of the All Progressives Congress Victor Giadom has condemned the explosion.

Giadom while speaking at the rally said the act was an attempt to scare party supporters but insisted that the party members would continue to remain resolute no matter the threats.
