As the United Nations General Assembly gets underway in New York, US President, Joe Biden, has warned against a full-scale war in Lebanon and said it is time to end the conflict in Gaza.

In his final address to world leaders at the UN General Assembly, Biden said a diplomatic solution is still possible, noting that a full-scale war is not in anyone’s interest.

Biden also announced the donation of 1 million mpox vaccine doses and at least $500 million to African countries to support their response to the outbreak.
