The Independent National Electoral Commission in Rivers State says it has received six thousand eight hundred and sixty-six Bimodal Voters Accreditation System machines BVAS.
Head of voters Education on INEC in Rivers State, Mark Usulor gave this at a two-day ECOWAS workshop for journalists and political parties.
He also already said the BVAS machines are in the state and kept in readiness for the 2023 elections adding that INEC is eighty per cent ready for the elections next year.
Dr Emmanuel Okorodudu head of Democracy and good governance at the ECOWAS Commission stressed the need for media practitioners to build content that would build unity and peaceful coexistence ahead of next year’s election rather than those that could breed crisis.
