Resident doctors have said they would resume the suspended protest if in 48 hours the Federal Government fails to address their challenges.
President of the resident Doctors at the University of Port Harcourt Onoah Ibe Arthur in an interview with correspondent Allwell Ene said the Association only suspended the planned protest following appeals by the FG to give them between 24 and 48 hours to look into their grievances.
He noted that after 48 hours the Association would meet to review their position on the protest adding that the strike is on even though the protest has been put on hold.
