President Bola Tinubu’s N47.9tn 2025 budget presentation to the National Assembly, initially set for Tuesday, December 17, has been postponed to Wednesday, December 18.
A source within the National Assembly confirmed the change, with an official announcement expected shortly.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio had earlier announced at Thursday’s plenary that the presentation would occur on December 17 at the House of Representatives Chamber. He outlined plans for senators to convene at 10:30 a.m. in the Red Chamber before proceeding in procession to the House for the budget presentation.
This development follows Tinubu’s submission of the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper for 2025–2027 to the National Assembly last month.
