It was a tragic incident yesterday in Mbodo Aluu community in Ikwerre Local Government Area where a member of OSPAC, a local vigilante group, Dickson Nwegu, was said to have allegedly shot and killed one Franklin Orji an indigene of the community 

Wife of the deceased, Josphine Orji, who narrated the incident to our correspondent said her husband had decided to relax outside their house to take fresh air since the weather was hot when the OSPAC member, Dickson came and shot him at about 11pm without any previous quarrels 

She narrated that shortly after her husband was shot, she made a phone call to other of his relatives and they decided to go to the police station in Aluu to make an entry where they found her husband’s corpse in the car of his OSPAC member Dickson who was also at the police station.

Younger brother of the deceased Innocent Orji and another neighbour of the deceased identified as Ekiti who also spoke on the incident said the deceased never had a problem with anyone and expressed shock why the OSPAC member would chose to shoot him and kill him. 

Meanwhile the police is yet to speak on the matter. яндекс
