Civil Society groups in Rivers State are now calling on the immediate redeployment of the Resident Election Commissioner of INEC in Rivers State Mr Alalibo Sinikiem over alleged compromise of the presidential and national assembly elections in Rivers State. 

Speaking on behalf of the civil Society coalition at a press briefing in Port Harcourt, the Project cordinator of the Homeland Awareness and Sensitization Initiative, Charles Inko Tariah alleged of connivance and romance between the Resident electoral Commissioner Alalibo Sinikiem and the ruling PDP in the state including manipulation and upturn of results in the State.
