The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has confirmed the arrest of social media influencer Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, over multiple cyberstalking allegations.

EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale told BBC News Pidgin on Monday that the arrest followed several petitions filed by different individuals. He clarified that the case is not linked to Guaranty Trust Bank and that the commission is preparing to arraign Otse in court once bail conditions are met.
