A New York jury found Kevin Spacey not liable for battery in Anthony Rapp’s civil lawsuit that alleged the “House of Cards” actor made an unwanted sexual advance in 1986.
Mr Rapp who says the actor inappropriately touched him at a party in 1986 when he was aged 14, now 50 and also an actor, filed the legal action in September 2020 and had been seeking around $40m (£36m) in damages.
The jury in Kevin Spacey’s $40 million civil lawsuit has found the actor not liable for sexual battery after roughly 90 minutes of deliberation.
