The Nigerian Military has admitted errors in the drone strikes during a routine counterterrorism operation on December 3rd, 2023, in Tundun Biri village in Kaduna State, which killed scores of innocent citizens.
The Director, Defence Media Operations (DDMO), Maj. Gen Edward Buba who made the disclosure while briefing newsmen on military operations across the country today in Abuja, said the military has initiated disciplinary action against TWO officers responsible for the air strike.
Speaking on the feat against economic saboteurs across the country’s creeks and waterways, the general said its troops, apprehended 32 suspected oil thefts and other violent extremists and recovered 4 weapons and 46 live cartridges, destroyed 21 illegal refining sites amongst others.
