Residents of Gambia street in Diobu on Saturday woke up to tragedy following a cult clash between the Iceland cult group and the Degbam cult group which claimed the live of one Precious Adiele a member of the Iceland Cult group.

Commander of the Diobu vigilante group Prince Amatari Bipeledei who narrated the incident to our correspondent said the clash started at about 7:42 pm on Saturday.

Amatari also said members of the Iceland group after the death of their leader Precious later went on reprisal to the camp of the Degbam group in Beribabou in Gambia street setting houses ablaze which led to the death an Innocent person. 

Amatari further cautioned cult groups in the area to steer clear of formenting crisis or risk being dealt with.

Meanwhile the police has confirmed the death of Precious Adiele in a cult clash 

Spokesperson of the police in Rivers State SP Grace  Iringe-Koko who confirmed the death described Prescious as a notorious cultist who has made live unbearable for residents of Diobu.
