The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris has announced that President Bola Tinubu has ordered the immediate release of minors arrested during the #EndBadGovernance protests, following recent public concern. 

The Minister who made this known yesterday after a private meeting with President Tinubu, also disclosed that the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction has been mandated to ensure the welfare of these minors and facilitating their reunion with parents or guardians across the country.

Our correspondent, Raliat Adenekan reports that the President also ordered an investigation into the actions of law enforcement personnel involved in these arrests, adding that any infractions identified will lead to appropriate disciplinary action for personnel found culpable.
