Some Members of the state executive Council of All Progressives Congress in Rivers State have suspended the chairman of the party Emeka Beke.

Also said to have been suspended is the publicity Secretary of the party Darlington Nwauju and the legal adviser Iheanyi Chukwu.

Announcing the suspension today at a press briefing Chike Enyinda accused the embattled chairman Emeka Beke of alleged anti-party activities, financial misappropriation and high handedness.

The members subsequently appoointed the deputy chairman of the party Omiete Eferebo as the acting chairman of the party

Also Chidi Nweke was announced the new leader of the party while Enyinda Chike was appointed the new Spokesperson of the party.
