We Have More Than Enough Fuel for Nigerians – Dangote

News

The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has over 500 million litres of petrol in its reservoir and is producing enough fuel for both local consumption and export, according to Alhaji Aliko Dangote. During a facility tour with Zambia’s Energy Minister, Makozo Chikote, Dangote revealed that the refinery, valued at $20bn, holds N600bn worth of stock and will reach its full capacity of 650,000 barrels per day next month.

Dangote highlighted the refinery’s ability to produce high-quality fuel surpassing European standards, noting that 60% of its output is designated for export. Meanwhile, Zambia is seeking collaboration with the refinery to enhance its energy security and ensure stable fuel supply.
